Sophia And Daphne

If you could stop every atom in its position and direction, and if your mind could comprehend all the actions thus suspended, then if you were really really good at algebra, you could write the formula for all the future

wow.. the hols have come.. prom is over and the bubble of innocent happiness is priked by the harsh realities of a new job, a new skill and a new beginning. going to start work at a bistro demands many things. Being new to the market, i'm am unaware of many things, hence i would need a word with the GM regarding many issues which are mind-boggling to me. CPF, OT, labour laws and tips. haiz.. the woes of working with a stranger. At least when i woked with family, the siuation is a less harzadous one and definitely a less troublesome one..

On prom night. It was an nice evening at the ritz. the setting was nice, the food was ok. the crowd? aww man.. it was a killer.. crowds drains one's energy so swiftly. in less than 2 hours, i started to feel dreary. well.. but i did enjoy the taking photos and seeing all my friends dolled up to the nines. it was a pity i could not see wayne's dance. they danced on the floor level, hence, it was invisble to me.

On cello lessons. I signed up for cello lessons and am gonna get my cello soon! heehee.. so exciting, i know the strings on the cello are CGDA, and i just love the resonance of the cello. it sounds so low and strong. haha.. starting lessons next year! seriously cant wait!

On working. This is novel. We'll see how it goes. Gonna do coolie work today.. see how it goes!

first thing my dad said to me today was that i looked like a boy! so sad. its strange, my hair so short. must have cut about 80% of my hair off. and i suppose i'll have to get used to remembering to use less shampoo and get use to my look. the last time i had hair this short was probably when i was 8 months old. went to watch bridget jones's diary: edge of reason. was very good, such shows restore one's faith in men. men who have no qualms about women with issues. no insult intended. haha. ok enough of cryptic messages. mark darcy- very cute. daniel cleaver- very bad. bridget jones- very funny. in-denial. fat. also watched another show- you've got served. this IS to hip hop what centerstage is to ballet. its so infectious, so inspirational. makes you feel like doing all the hip hop stuff after watching it. except for trying that head-spinning bit. i want an x-box, anyone kind enough to buy one for me for christmas?
