this week has been an uncanny week for friendships. friendships formed. friendships strengthened. friendships ended. recently.. i was reunited with 2 friends. Faris and Kamil. heh.. i met faris once only in sec 3 and yet.. here we are.. talking as though we've been old friends. thank you for remembering to keep in contact! heh.. then.. kamil.. hmm.. i only talked to him once.. when he returned my video cam to me after he and wayne borrowed it for prom. hehe.. and he passed me gummy bears (thank you for that.. though i'd have preferred snickers, at least gummies can share la! hahaha) then i met up with lih tyng, jun, joshua, vin, sun, jo, agnes, div, isaac, shelley, serene, shubz, elvin, tristan, corinna, lynette, (i'm trying to go in order of who i met), tze.. so wow.. of course.. i lie.. i didnt meet them ALL in one week.. well.. hmm.. i said good bye to a very precious friend of mine... he's been my friend since i was 7. he loves yellow.. is a little round the edges (aka obese). smiles a lot. has brown curly friend. and likes to hang around in my room. he used to live on the shelf in Yaohan and had a tag on him that said he cost $10. but really, he's so much more to me than $10. recently, he was found to be harbouring unwanted guests. so my dad had to put him away (aka throw in the dustbin).. i didnt even get to say goodbye.. and he's gone just like that. can you imagine.. your confidante, the one that wiped away your tears in the silent nights has now been reduced to nothing but ashes in a landfill. the one person who always gave you that sense of permanance, never judging, always available and never questioning has just been ripped from my life.. i guess nothing really lasts.. change is the only constant. the world keeps revolving and those who do not know how to walk in circles get left behind...

hey.. the dead has risen. for a moment, i forgot i even had a blog. anyway, its back to school for me and i'm dreading each day. and the job that i took up in dec was so terribly tiring that for those couple of weeks, all i did was work, eat, sleep, go back to work. and after i left that job, organised a yard sale! and donated the money to.. a local theatre group.. haha, bet you are wondering why not the tsunami victims.. anyway, its back to ballet and rigourous violin practices (everyday, hopefully) in preparation for my assesstment in february. gah. man, just listen to me go. complain complain. seriously, that's all i'm good at nowadays. along with the fatalistic state of mind and the propensity to consume much more chocolate and peanut butter for my own good. and to top it all of, my hair is WAY too short for my liking. what a way to start the year. ~bIgSiS

ahh.. well.. i've just recently quit my job! yay! why?? cuz they didnt pay my dec pay check on time.. and according to my dad.. that just implies the horrid management and the lack of integrity and professionlism of the management team... kudos to that. also, my sister (who is 'dead' on te blog) just wrapped up a 4 day long yard sale.. yes.. yard sale.. what a western concept.. unfortunately, our main target group were the maids in the neighbourhood.. hence, the spending power of each individual was actually quite small.. on the bright side, we made more than 300 bucks! yay! needless to say, the amount of stuff we managed to sell was NOT significant enough, hence, we (me and my sister) are inviting our smaller-sized friends over to give the clothes a try! hey! they are not bad you know!! Genuine jeans from Levi's, Tops from Kookai.. blah blah... they were v pristine condition hand-me-downs from my cousin.. who is based in France.. and every christmas she gives me and my sis clothes.. unfortunately.. we're now bigger than her.. hence, many clothes are too small to fit.. damn.
so.. what am i doing now?? well.. cello lessons are on the way.. and i'm having fun just staying home.. sleeping in... reading books!!! eating whatever junk food i can find (hmm... i am assuming bread and nutella counts as junk food)... and.. reading! yay! driving basic on the 27th.. happy me has not yet studied.. or for that matter.. TOUCHED my basic theory book.. oops.. my mistake.. shall start SOON..
hope my jan pay check comes in soon! and! i wanna bank in my dec pay check! its nice to see a non-anorexic wallet and bank account! ohhh!! Mac Donalds has curly fries.. wonder how it tastes like...
