and today is our last day here at our nice house! it seems sad somehow (my house) with its cupboards and shelves vacant, drawers emptied out, walls bare. its almost as if its marrow has been sucked dry. and the tabletops that were perpetually strewned with stuff is now dotted with odds and ends that, up until now, am still undecided on whether to keep or bin. *someone is such a drama mama.
actually moving is such a strange experience - i learnt that life can be packed into boxes and its really strange because you never really think that life can be defined in such simplistic material terms, but in a way - life is exactly like that. in a way, your stuff defines you. riight. now, i sound completely mad.

anyway, had LOTR marathon yesterday and boo to those that didnt come or had their asses in bed till we were halfway through 2 towers. started at 10.30am and ended at 12something am. a good day that was!

now, star wars marathon anyone?

i have episode 2-6!!! haha

time flies when i am out of the office.. yes.. i am working.. it is quite dull though.. can you imagine.. me.. doing design work?!?! oh my! hahaha.. i am the least creative person alive.. and plonk me in design work.. well.. i try my best.. heh.. hmm.. msn keeps me alive though! many thanks to pple who are online in the day to accompany me.. as i trudge through the day.. hehe...

20th dec was a v v gd day! started the day running chores with mum.. then, headed over to J8 for king kong!! it is an excellent show. must watch! although at times, king kong looked a LITTLE CGI.. the overall effect was still marvelous! hmm.. following that.. had nice sushi buffet lunch.. where i ate and ate and ate.. and received my presents from kamil!! $50 isetan vouchers.. and a scent from adidas.. nice!! heh.. shopped a little after that.. spent a grand total of $52! am i not gd! hahaah... one pair of corduroy pants from mango ($29).. and.. a top for $23 in another shop! very clever gift, vouchers are! :D thank you kamil! then.. had dinner w family at din tai fung!! nice!! 2nd time eating there! once again.. eat.. eat.. eat! lovely!! ahhaah.. though i was sooo full from the bak chor mee! the xiao long baos are of v gd quality.. and the dessert thing! v nice! hahaah..

17th dec.. was another crazy party.. gorge out day! chops, ma ma, ee peng jie jie, me, jessica and jason celebrated our birthdays together! HUGE CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE!!! ahahhaha.. and.. bbq.. nice!!! i didnt touch the grill at all!! wow.. that's a first in many years! heh..

hmm.. well.. moving house on the 31st.. so.. pls address all letters in future to my new address! :D if you dont know, and would like to know.. ask.. :D have a great day, all!

the first day of school for me is march 13! so exciting.
these few days have been moving, working and packing mainly. ooh, yes and cable tv as well! FINALLY, we've got CABLE! so fun! And we have all the channels (first week only) so have to watch like there's no tmr! But have been rather busy, so much so that i'm too tired to watch. The irony of it all.
Oh, and there are 2 christmas trees up! haha, sw did the 2nd one. So the place is so christmassy now, with stockings hanging at the staircase and reindeers too!
10 more days to christmas!

haha..yup, its coming-u can smell it in the air! and its the last christmas here! ok exagerating, i know, we will come back here to this house one day! (did I mention how much i love my house ?!? -i mean, i really do love it here!) put up the tree already and its positively glittering! haha- tempted to put up another one and the house really would be sooo christmassy admidst the mess *the horror of moving!
you know, as each year goes by, christmas becomes more and more magical-haha, maybe im worging (you know, opposite of growing up..as in g r o w ing - w o r g ing). ok,lame.
its amaing how the days just past so fast - with work (some research work in school - AND the best part-its totally NOT related to engineering, like WHY on earth am i doing it- coz i get paid la! - but thats not the point, or is it?) and violin and packing and ebaying - am going to make lots of money!! and ballet, how could i forget - but i havent been to class since-i-dont-know-how-many-kilograms-ago. argh, i have to get my life back in order. oh yes, and german classes too!

FINALLY! and i'm estatic! yay! lots of stuff to do and lots of people to meet! ANnnnD..the blog is one year old. yay. gonna do a LOTR movie marathon next week or week after. and everyone's invited. BUT have to pass a LOTR test first OR dress up as a LOTR character OR bring food to be allowed in- haven't decided.
AND putting up the tree. Yes, it falls on me again- taking down the dusty tree and the box of ornaments- But, as I said, anything for christmas.
AND watch Pride and Prejedice. Again. No, not the keira knightley one but the 5-hours-long bbc one with colin firth. Yes, i absolutely love that one, though I've only managed to watch it only 3 times so far. He(colin firth) really is the epitome of Mr Darcy. Really!!! In fact out of the 3 movies i've seen him in, he's Darcy in two. And he does Mr Darcy so well! with his demeanour, the way he talks and even the way he stands there with the slight look of disdain- well, that man was born to be Darcy.
Ok, shall stop. i'm really too old for mad obsessions with fictional characters.
