Non Sequitor 1 Its strange how the past has seem to zero out and i have been taking time reference, strangely enough from june 1 (the date that marked the end of the backpacking trip). For example, Tuesday was my second time eating at burger king since I came back. I have swam thrice, bought only 1 cd, took the bus 4 times, etc,etc Funny that it seems important to keep track of my singaporeanish-life, as if by keeping a count i'm ensuring myself that the trip was actually quite recent and.. it happened only 1 macdonald meal ago.
Non Sequitor 2 why is the sky blue? -because sunlight is being refracted by our atmosphere and only the wavelength of the blue component of light is allowed through. why do airplanes fly? -because of their structure, the way the air flows over and under them (as seen in Bernouilli's equation and other aerodynamics laws), they fly. why is 3+2=5? -because since +1 means going on to the next number in question; 3+2=3+(1+1)=(2+1)+(1+1)=(1+1+1)+(1+1)=5.
I'm so not a kid anymore. Sometimes I wish I didn't know the answers.
Non Sequitor 3 Why is it "wake up and smell the roses"?- its supposed to denote facing reality but with a negative conotation. the sayer means it as a "wake-up call" to the sayee- to pull up his socks or something. what's so bad about the smell of roses?

WOW! School is going full steam aheaD. Thank God i am keeping up with my readings.. and most lessons.. except MA. which i am getting a TAD bit confused abt. bah! who asked me to stone and stare in the last lesson for like 5 slides. SORRY! okok. i promise.. i will listen and cler my doubts. i hate this feeling of inadequecy. anyway. did my biz law presentation! yays to us: michelle, yen and vienna! did my BGS report! yays to moi! heh.. well.. enough yaying for now.. i miss ballet.. feels like ages since i danced. think i will MAKE IT this weds! i must try anyway! hehe.. dance in sch is starting.. bleagh.. its like.. shd i or shd i not?!?! i will try to stick with it.. just hope all goes well!! :D ok la.. i think i will gp start on my readings now.. and memo to me: post corinna's letter! cello is later too! yays to me again! started on book 2 of suzuki!

boo. back from the dead so to speak. well, want to know what i've been doing the past couple of weeks? lab. concert at botanicals. birthday parties. homework. night safari. mookcake eating. basketball shooter design. violin exam. german lessons. lunch with old friend. postponing dinner with lao shi. project meetings. too much homework. HR filming thing. day trip to JB. morning runs. 9 esplanade concert tickets. impromtu late night meeting. jerry maguire, stealth, the island. pohpiah. petrol prices. new brown slippers. tertiary debates in chinese. aerosmith anthology. ballet fees. long sleep.
what can i say? our 3 basic needs nevetheless remain the same. or should i say mine? money, time... money? RRRiiiiight.

Wow! i was actually afraid i could not remember the user id and password to this blog. Anyway! after being dead for oh SO LONG! i have decided to take some time off to blog! (tsk! all the other bloggers who have died on their blogs should start learning from my example!! ahahahah) Well.. went to the Night Safari today. Walked and walked, it was relatively good. Had a good time! I'm glad kenny and choppa went too! was a nice break for me. was smth kenny was looking forward to. not sure abt chopps though. gotta wait for her post, i guess! well.. kamil is sick! BOO! pls everyone go and scold him for getting sick! SEE LA! never take care of himself! haiya.. silly milly! pish posh! anyway.. on school.. its fun.. relatively ok. had my 1st biz law quiz. dont ask. it was average. but not good enough... for me anyway. i like studying. serious! its just that tests and grades and marks and rankings turn me off. after i while, i wonder what is the whole point of it all. and i realise. Ah yes! you need good grades to get a good degree. you need a good degree to get a good job. Or as my analytical skills prof wld say. Using the argument that If p, then q. If P. Conclude Q. Substitute P for good job, Q for good degree. or smth to this extent. pls correct me if my argument is invalid, and pls show a counterexample to show invalidity. thanks. well.. teacher's day tmr! rem to wish lao shi and ms penny a happy teacher's day! :D Oh! on sun, i went to watch a show w corinna -- Victoria Chorale. Excellent standard. I enjoyed myself throughly! Ah.. Jun is overseas. Shelley is overseas.. Nice! All the best to them! for now, i will be out! Sleep beckons!
