happy new year one and all!

yes. i'm sorry for going all houdini but this sem has been shit and well, i'm gonna go back into a even shittier sem. oh wells. new years eve was not-so-surprisingly sober and mild. had a christmas sort of dinner with the neighbours and the godparents. yes, i did say christmas there. there was turkey and ham and all that. it was christmas dinner no. 2. good things were the german beer that was pretty satisfying and so was the tequilla sunrise.

then, we played cranium which was awesome. felt that it wasn't too fair on our neighbours as they do not speak english as first lang. but it went well. then we launched straight into taboo. which ended up with only 2 players - me and shozzy. oh well. we then counted down and spent the first part of 2007 watching mr. darcy and elizabeth bennet defy the norms of social classes and live happily ever after. ok. yes, i know. it was awfully boring what i did. but i enjoyed it. kind of. i'm just tired nowadays and these 2 days of doing nothing but read, eat and watch tv was great! though i did start on my thesis TODAY (1 page). finally! and i did like make some effort in looking at masters and scholarships and all that.

so that was my (boring-o) new years eve and new years day.
2006 was great for me nonetheless (massive understatement there!!!)
so 2007, bring it on!!!
